Respite Care
Respite means to take a break from the daily efforts of caring for someone with special needs. We cover respite care (planned or on an emergency basis) that gives short-term help to an unpaid caregiver. This can help:
- Reduce stress.
- Give the caregiver and member a break.
Talk to the member’s care coordinator about how to get respite care.
