CareSource Funds Senior Affordable Apartments in Scioto County

Portsmouth Senior Lofts to be developed with St. Mary Development Corporation and Community Action Organization of Scioto County.
(DAYTON, OH – March 16, 2021) – CareSource, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan, announced the financial support of senior affordable apartment community in Portsmouth, Ohio in partnership with St. Mary Development Corporation, Community Action Organization of Scioto County, Ohio Housing Finance Agency, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Huntington Bank, the Federal Home Loan Bank, Russell Construction, MVAH Management and BDCL Architects. Named Portsmouth Senior Lofts, the construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2022.

St. Mary Development has a long history creating affordable apartment communities with service coordination to combat negative social determinants of health and allow seniors to live independently for as long as possible.
