CareSource is a nonprofit, nationally recognized managed care organization with 2.1 million members. Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio since its founding in 1989, CareSource administers one of the largest Medicaid managed care plans in the U.S. The organization offers health insurance, including Medicaid, Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicare products. Medicaid

CareSource provides managed-care services for families, children, pregnant women, adults up to age 65 and people who are blind or have disabilities. CareSource’s Medicaid plans covers all medically necessary Medicaid-covered services in addition to expanded benefits.

Marketplace (QHP)

CareSource provides low-cost coverage for young people, those who aren’t offered employer-based insurance, those with pre-existing conditions and many others. CareSource Marketplace plans have optional vision and dental coverage as well as subsidized options through the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Dual Eligible

CareSource offers primary, acute behavioral health and long-term care services for those who are dual-eligible for Medicaid and Medicare.
