Video highlights impact of CareSource internship program

Each summer, students from across the country gather in Dayton, Ohio to kick off their internship at CareSource. This year, 32 interns from 25 different schools have spent ten weeks working within CareSource, bringing fresh ideas and unwavering enthusiasm to the workplace.

CareSource's internship program has proven to be a resounding success. The organization's commitment to empowering these aspiring professionals has fostered a culture of growth and innovation.

"We congratulate each of our CareSource Summer interns and celebrate their contributions this summer," said Jennifer Dougherty, CareSource’s chief human resources officer. “Their dedication has left a lasting mark on the organization, propelling both their own personal development and CareSource's progress"

Since 2012, CareSource has hosted more than 150 interns throughout the organization and more than 70% of interns receive full-time offers to work at CareSource upon graduation. Each of the interns participate in a 12-week immersive learning and experiential journey that includes department specific projects, weekly mentoring, job shadowing, one-on-one time with managers and personal development learning.
