CareSource helps attract new nonstop Denver flight at Dayton International Airport

CareSource is helping grow the Dayton business economy and attract more air service to Dayton. CareSource helped establish a new nonstop United Airlines flight to Denver, Colorado, which will be begin service in September 2023. The flight to Denver will be the furthest-flying direct flight from Dayton, unlocking access to United’s Denver hub, and more convenient flying options throughout the western United States.

The announcement was made May 23, 2023, in a ceremony featuring representatives from the airport, JobsOhio and the Dayton Development Coalition, as well as community partners CareSource, Montgomery County and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.

“With CareSource employees now located in 47 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, expanding air access to our Dayton Headquarters is more important than ever,” said CareSource’s Jenny Michael, who spoke at the announcement. “Having more direct, competitively priced flights for our customers, partners, and employees is essential to our ability to grow and expand.” 

United Airlines offers four nonstop flights from Denver to Hawaii, along with two flights to Alaska and several more to various cities along the west coast. The Dayton-Denver flight will start daily on Sept. 29, 2023, on Wi-Fi-equipped E175 equipment with 12 first-class and 16 economy-plus seats.
