There are some differences with a Marketplace plan you may not know or may need to learn more about.

Marketplace plans have costs. Besides paying a monthly premium, you will generally have copays, coinsurance and an annual deductible. Learn more about the other costs you’ll have to pay with your plan.

Some Things to Know:

  • Marketplace plans do not cover some benefits you may be used to, like transportation to and from your doctor visits.
  • Vision benefits are provided for children on HAP CareSource Marketplace plans. Vision benefits are not covered for adults unless you buy an optional adult Vision and Fitness plans. This plan offers vision coverage for all adults on your plan, plus an added fitness benefit.
  • Your provider network is different. If you are going through treatment (dialysis, chemo, etc.) or you are pregnant when you change plans, don’t worry. We can work with your current provider while you change to in-network providers with your new plan. Call Member Services to get this started.

Get Up and Running!

When You Are Coming From Another Plan
(another HAP CareSource Plan or a different plan):

  1. Use Find A Doctor to find out if your primary care provider (PCP) is in-network, or choose a new PCP.
  2. Use Find My Prescriptions to make sure your medications are covered and see what they are going to cost.
  3. Use Find A Pharmacy to make sure that your pharmacy is in-network or find a new one.
