Mail Order Drugs
Get Your Prescriptions Delivered to Your Door!
You can get many of your Medicare Part D and Medicaid covered drugs sent to your home through mail. We work with Pharmacy Advantage, an online pharmacy based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, to provide this service to you. Using Pharmacy Advantage is optional (you can use any pharmacy in the network). If you use Pharmacy Advantage, your prescriptions are mailed to your home. There is no charge for shipping if you use regular delivery.
Why Use Mail Order?
- Convenience. Ordering is easy and your medicines are sent right to your home.
- Quality and safety. Dedicated pharmacists look over each prescription to make sure it is correct. They also check to make sure you aren’t taking drugs that shouldn’t be taken together.
- Guidance. If you have questions, you can call a pharmacist or technician for help.
- Easy refills. You can order refills by phone or online. It is always a good idea to order your refills at least two weeks before your medicine runs out.

Please make sure you have your HAP CareSource MI Health Link member ID card and the names of your medicines. You will also need your doctor’s name and phone number.
Note: You can get a three-month supply for many of your drugs.
How it works
- A Pharmacy Advantage technician will receive and review your information and help get your drugs transferred.
- They will call the doctor or pharmacy to start the prescription filling process.
- They might need to call your current pharmacy to transfer any drugs and get copies of your prescriptions.
- They might need to call your doctor if you don’t have any refills.
- They will also work with your doctor if any authorizations are needed.
The standard shipping costs on your medications are free. Your prescriptions will come in the mail.
Automatic Refill Service
You can use an “automatic refill” service for your mail-order drugs. Pharmacy Advantage will need your permission before sending you a refill by mail. That way we make sure you get only the drugs you need.
There are three ways to order refills:
- Make an account and order at the Pharmacy Advantage website.
- Call 1-800-456-2112 and pick option # 2 for the refill line.
- Choose the refill reminder option when you register. Allow four to five business days for delivery.
Delivery Time
Please allow up to 10 days from the time you place your order to receive delivery. You might receive your prescriptions earlier, but it is a good idea to re-order medications two weeks ahead. If you need a drug more urgently, Pharmacy Advantage will work with you.
