This edition of the Provider Education Series presents information on the CareSource provider portal. Please view the presentation to learn more about our portal’s functionality and how to work with us through the portal’s many self-service features.
Provider Portal Key Features OverviewUse of the CareSource Provider Portal to submit prior authorization requests ensures that CareSource receives all necessary information to review a request. This edition of the Provider Education Series instructs the viewer on the use of the Procedure Lookup Tool, prior authorization submission process via the Provider Portal, and how to check case status.
This module of the Provider Education Series introduces the CareSource Life Services® program. You will hear about the ways this program addresses the gap between healthcare and community support services, review the ways that social determinants impact health, and the process for connecting your patients with the Life Services program.

Behavioral Health:
CareSource is launching a Project ECHO for in-network providers to increase the availability of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to patients in the state of Indiana! This clinic seeks to provide a collaborative learning experience for providers to enhance evidence-based practices with this population utilizing brief didactic sessions and case-based discussions in a multi-disciplinary forum.
Primary Medical Care Providers, Physician Assistants, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses who are interested in learning to prescribe MAT with support are invited to attend on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month starting February 11, 2025, from 11 a.m. Central Time (CT)/12 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) to 12 p.m. CT/1 ET for live, interactive, case-based learning and free continuing medical education credits!
