File a Grievance
The Grievance Process
If you are unhappy with something about your care or the way your CareSource plan works, you may file a grievance. For example, you may be unhappy because:
- You cannot get a timely appointment with a provider.
- You think the provider’s office staff did not treat you fairly.
- You are not satisfied with the quality of care you received.
- CareSource denies a service.
- CareSource gives partial approval to cover a service.
- CareSource denies payment of a service.
- You get a surprise bill from a provider.
These types of service include quality and standards of care, benefits, or denial of benefits.
To file a grievance, you may:
- Select File a Grievance/Appeal in your My CareSource portal account.
