Find My Prescriptions

CareSource covers all medically necessary Medicaid-covered drugs. We use a  Preferred Drug List (PDL). These are the drugs we would like your provider to choose. Members may pay a small part of their prescription costs. This is called a copayment or copay. Learn more about pharmacy copays. Georgia Pathways to Coverage members do not have copays in Phase 1.

CareSource has a Find A Pharmacy tool or you can call us. Bring your CareSource ID card to the pharmacy. Be sure to fill your prescriptions before you travel out of state.

Find My Prescriptions

CareSource has a Find My Prescriptions tool where you can find your medicines. This is where you will find the CareSource formulary and the most  up-to-date changes. Call  us to learn more.

Over-The-Counter (OTC) Drugs

These are drugs you can buy out of pocket without a prescription. But, if you get a written prescription, CareSource covers many OTC drugs. These can be:

  • Antacids
  • Decongestants and allergy relief
  • First aid cream
  • Lancets and pen needles
  • Multivitamins
  • Nicotine gum and patches
  • And more

View a list of covered drugs and products on the Covered OTC List or call us. This list can change. Always check the CareSource PDL by using the Find My Prescriptions tool. It will have the most up-to-date list about what is covered.

Specialty Pharmacy

Most specialty drugs need a prior authorization (PA) before you can get them. Some drugs have limits on how much can be given at once. Talk with your provider about a PA. Call us if you have questions.
