Eating During Pregnancy

Healthy eating in pregnancy is as simple as choosing high-calcium foods, fruits and veggies in a rainbow of colors. Eating high-fiber foods, and foods with good sources of iron is also important. You will need to avoid alcohol and limit caffeine. Pregnant women need about 300 more calories a day. However, it is important to make those calories count with good, nutritious foods.
