Sarah Musser, HAP CareSource Market President, Michigan

Sarah Musser is the HAP CareSource Market President and oversees the program operations and initiatives for the organization across the state of Michigan, including building the strategic partnerships that help achieve better health outcomes for those served by Medicaid and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

With over a decade of experience in health care management and finance, Sarah’s strategic planning and analytical strengths have been pivotal in growing the organization, building partnerships and external advocacy. She has successfully made HAP CareSource a leader in member and provider engagement and experience, as well as management and operations in the areas it serves.

Sarah has a proven track record of success gained through her previous leadership roles with Cardinal Health, Battelle and EY. Additionally, her eight years on the board of directors of BMI Federal Credit Union are a testament to her financial management ability and recognition in the community as a business leader.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Shawnee State (OH) University and a master’s degree from The Ohio State University. Sarah is a credentialed certified public accountant.
